Rally House is seeking a dynamic and strategic employee in the marketing department that can create opportunities for media, digital engagement, events and partnerships. This position will be collaborating heavily with our distributor network and online product sales. Will assist with the development and implementation of the overall marketing plan and product launch strategies. In this role, you will help drive efforts to increase merchandise sales, manage local and national marketing campaigns for pro teams using a holistic approach that includes optimization of web, social media, email, sponsorships, media buying, promotions, events and more. The ideal candidate will be a sports fan that is a dynamic, highly driven & an outside-the-box thinker. This individual will utilize best marketing practices to accomplish an increase in local store traffic & create opportunities for designated Rally House store locations.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage local & national marketing campaigns
  • Execute relevant promotions, events and contests - independent and as part of larger campaigns
  • Evaluate analytics to determine success of initiatives
  • Build and foster relationships with league associations, vendors and external partners to develop a co-branded experience for customers
  • Assist in executing external sponsorships and partnerships
  • Facilitate communication between colleagues, departments and stores
  • Develop, implement,, and coordinate, project plans for assigned marketing initiatives that maximize acquisition, expansion and retention marketing strategies and local market programs
  • Maintain a roster of clients and manage the marketing elements of their brand
  • Create programs that will lead to digital, brand building and PR opportunities
  • Help to tell the story of clients in their local market
  • Serve as project manager on cross departmental initiatives
  • Develop and execute marketing programs to strengthen client brands
  • Collaborate on monthly reports to show growth and brand development
  • Execute programs to showcase client in a superior way
  • Leverage consumer research and lifestyle trends to achieve overarching strategies
  • Work with in-house resources and external partners to manage integrated campaigns including media, digital/social touch points, creative deliverables, and more to ensure the success of athlete initiatives and company events
  • Other marketing duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

  • The successful sports loving candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communication, journalism or another related field
  • Minimum of two (2) years marketing experience; experience in digital marketing desired
  • Detailed-oriented, highly adaptable & possess the availability to prioritize & multi-task
  • Working knowledge of computer systems such as MAC OS, Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft Office programs, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Pivot Tables.
  • Other useful skills include strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to complete work in a fast paced, team-oriented work environment with frequent interruptions
  • Advanced knowledge of the professional sports leagues, teams and yearly calendar
  • 1-2 years of experience in marketing, events, promotions and brand development
  • A clear understanding of the importance of client service is required
  • Proficiency with Mac OS, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Keynote.
  • Ability to travel occasionally
  • The successful candidate must be able to resolve conflicts in a professional manner
  • Proven creative skills and performance in this area, regardless of academic degree, will be considered
