Position Summary

Rally House is looking for a dynamic Recruiter who will be responsible for full life cycle recruitment for open positions within the Retail Stores and Corporate Office teams. Responsibilities will range from sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting interviews with potential candidates, communicating with hiring managers throughout the hiring process, conducting reference checks, preparing offer letters and maintaining files and reporting. In addition, this position will help build and maintain a talent pipeline to facilitate timely solutions to future staffing requirements.  The Recruiter reports to the Chief Operating Officer.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Represent the company throughout the hiring process with all candidates ensuring a positive applicant experience through all steps of the interview and hiring process
  • Recruit for open positions of all levels across the departments utilizing various methods of candidate sourcing – i.e. online job posting, resume sourcing, industry networking, employee referrals, social media, cold calls, etc.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with hiring managers by providing excellent service, advice, direction, and feedback throughout the complete selection process
  • Manage store and corporate staffing levels and fill open positions as they become available in a timely manner and with a sense of urgency
  • Phone screen candidates to make sure they match basic employment criteria.
  • Fully utilize the Applicant Tracking System to post, source, screen, and process applicants within the ATS
  • Communicate with hiring managers to fill open positions as they become available
  • Attend job fairs and organize regular hiring events
  • Draft and maintain job descriptions
  • Handle highly confidential information with discretion
  • Demonstrate ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Gather, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of recruitment efforts
  • Must be able to present the essential recruitment metrics that can identify areas for process improvement
  • Build and maintain a sourcing network of internal and external candidates by always keeping lines of communication open with potential hires for open and future corporate positions
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement efforts, while ensuring accurate reporting for distribution and analysis
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 3 + years of experience in recruiting with a proven track record of full-life cycle recruiting, experience within agency recruiting is preferred but not required
  • Successful track record of designing and executing innovative recruiting strategies
  • Must be an active and open networker on current social media sites
  • Proficient in using various search tools (Indeed, Applicant Tracking Systems, LinkedIn, etc) to attract and recruit applicants
  • Logical reasoning ability that can identify candidate "Red Flags" and make appropriate recommendations to hiring managers
  • Passion for finding the right person, at the right time, for the right role
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels within the organization; you relish a good brainstorm, savor constructive criticism and easily build relationships with team members
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems and recruitment technology
  • The ability to establish workforce planning processes related to current and future staffing needs
  • Strong interest in process improvement
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate your thoughts and ideas.
  • Consistently displays a high level of energy and enthusiasm for meeting the needs of internal and external customers modeling a "can do" attitude
